OK, so there are some proportions problems and the composition could be better, but I really liked your coloring work.
Hum... I would prefer a lighter tone for the "brown/red" to unbalance the otherwise soft mood of the scene. And maybe adding a more marked/darker outlines could bring her up, giving her a more deserved focus.
Besides, in the end, I think the piece worked pretty well as I really enjoyed your color flow.
I like that you blended the same color palette used for the sky for her hair also, I think that gives her a more vibrant look. The sunset on the water is well rendered and realistic. Overall, its a nice portrait, with rich, vibrant color. There are some areas that could have used some more work, like the cliff and the clouds. For the cliff, the edge between the grass and earth could have been more defined and I think the picture would have benefited greatly from drawing the tree in, rather than implying it is there by a couple branches; this would have given you the opportunity to work the background scenery more into the foreground and add some more balance overall.
Still, though, the color variation and richness of the color makes up for it. The theme itself seems to fit the picture, and the picture does have a sort of whimsical feel, totally appropriate for a dream, whether literal or symbol. Good job.
